The “Innovator’s Challenge” – case competition organized by the MC4E, aims at solving complex company challenges with entrepreneurial solutions. Inspiration House – closing event for the fifth edition of Pressure Cooker

Programme for start-ups that kicks off on 19 October and concludes on 17 November with participants making their pitches to a jury.

In 80 hours time, the starting entrepreneur strengthens insights, skills and performance. The starting entrepreneur builds on an allround foundation. The program has five pillars and is handled by twenty experts.

Closed event for entrepreneurs, guests, jury, and Pressure Cooker participants.

From old jeans into a chair, suitcase, or motorcycle! Industrial Designer Marc Meijers invented the DenimX recipe that combines jeans with bio-based plastics to give old jeans new life and produce high quality lifestyle products, designed in Maastricht.

Let yourself be inspired by this SME member on Entrepreneur’s Day. Marc will passionately share his story, from idea to circular product, and with all the associated challenges of DenimX designs, to build a more beautiful, sustainable world in blue! What can you contribute to the circular economy?

You can also come to the Greetings from Maastricht expo in the Eiffel building, the former production site for the Sphinx factory. You’ll be given a tour of this new section of Maastricht that creates space for creative, innovative entrepreneurs as well as organizations that focus on culture and recreation and social facilities.

The networking meeting is open to all entrepreneurs with advance registration.

With this award, the Municipality of Maastricht, together with various partners, shows its appreciation for the many entrepreneurs who choose to make Maastricht their company’s home. At the same time, this initiative is designed to highlight and reward distinctive and excellent entrepreneurship.

The awards are organized by the Municipality of Maastricht and a range of partners, including Rabobank, Centrummanagement, Maastricht Marketing, and representatives from the retail sector, hospitality industry, manufacturing industry, and the service sector.
